The Big Apple
So we are chillin in NY for the next few days with Jasons family. Ty is playing with the Ciccotelli grandparents and enjoying his time on the east coast. He is sleeping better than we thought he would and the flight out here was easy! He just hung out and ate cheerios while talking to anyone in sight. We are going to be going to Central Park for a fun run on NYE (which I do not think will be fun. Midnight in the park in JANUARY?) so look forward to pictures.

And then there were three...
Just to update everyone on our life till now.
Ty Jason Ciccotelli was born March 9th, 2007 at 959 am. He was 7 lbs 14 oz and was 20.5 inches long. He has always been the best baby in the world except when it comes to sleeping. He doesnt like to do it... He has since gotten much better in the last two months of his life but if we dare alter his schedule even slightly we pay for many nights to come!
We moved to SLC, UT in May of this year so that Jason could begin school all over again. He is attending the University of Utah Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. He absolutely loves it and he is now half way done with his first year. :)
In October of this year we learned that Ty's head is "cosmetically flat" in the back so we opted to getting him a helmet now rather than waiting till he was a year old and having the doctors suggest surgery where they crack his skull and reform it...yeah, a helmet sounded much better. The good news is it only took him about 2 days to get used to it and now that he is crawling and learning to walk it has been a wonderful protection to his head as he continuously runs into things and falls over. We are extremely worried about when the helmet comes off because we think he may be a little to used to hitting his head and feeling no pain!
Ty is now 9 1/2 months old and growing like crazy. He began this life being a little shorter than average and a little heavier than average and now he continues to drop in weight and grow in height! He is almost 30 inches tall weighing in at 20 pounds. We have had many people tell us he is built "tough." Apparently even a baby can look built. :)

The Beginings
I had a blog years ago before I met Jason and I was a real blog-head. I'm pretty sure it was my blogging obsessions that kept me occupied for the many hours of work at the police department. I got rid of that one when Jason came skating into my life but now we have mutually decided it will be a fun way to keep others up to speed on the happenings in our lives and most importantly the 'hot from the press' news of Ty.
So, welcome. :)
